This notice covers the DailyVrs public website. Product capabilities can evolve, and this page will be updated when the data handling changes materially.
Information you choose to provide
DailyVrs no longer collects new launch-waitlist registrations. Legacy launch-contact records remain protected behind service-only access while their retention is reviewed; they are not repurposed by the public website.
If you create an account, the authentication service and DailyVrs account records can process the information needed to sign you in, maintain a secure session, and save supported preferences. Private notes, highlights, prayers, journals, and reading records are not public content.
Technical information
Cloudflare may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP-derived network data, request paths, browser information, and security signals. DailyVrs uses local storage for appearance and analytics-consent preferences and may use cookies for interface locale and secure authentication sessions.
Optional analytics
DailyVrs uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of the public website and, only with permission, supported mobile app builds. Google may receive technical and usage information such as browser or device details, pages or screens visited, and identifiers as described in its privacy documentation. DailyVrs does not intentionally send names, email addresses, prayer or journal content, reflection text, Bible-reading records, or other authenticated private content to Google Analytics.
DailyVrs also uses Ahrefs Analytics on public website pages to understand aggregate website usage and improve the site's search visibility. Ahrefs may receive technical information about visits and pages viewed as described in its own privacy documentation. The Ahrefs script is not loaded on authenticated or private routes.
Analytics is optional. You can choose whether to allow it, and change that choice at any time from the website privacy prompt or the mobile app’s Privacy & Security settings.
How information is used
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To authenticate accounts and preserve supported user preferences.
- To enforce licensing, rate limits, and abuse protections.
- To respond to support, privacy, licensing, or accessibility requests.
Service infrastructure
DailyVrs uses Cloudflare for website and Worker delivery and Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure. Public Bible text is delivered through the existing Cloudflare Bible service rather than being exposed through a privileged browser database connection.
Your choices
You can change your appearance preference, sign out of an account, and permanently delete a DailyVrs account through theofficial account-deletion page. That workflow removes the Auth identity, private account data, direct account links in operational records, and account-owned generated files. Limited records may remain where security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, licensing, or transaction obligations require retention, and public or shared contributions may remain without an account link.
Google Play subscriptions, if present, must be cancelled separately in Google Play. Contact DailyVrs about access, correction, a deletion problem, or another privacy question.
