Every wise woman builds her house,

He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh,

The fool’s talk brings a rod to his back,

Where no oxen are, the crib is clean,

WEB: 5WEB

A truthful witness will not lie,

WEB: 6WEB

A scoffer seeks wisdom, and doesn’t find it,

Stay away from a foolish man,

WEB: 8WEB

The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way,

WEB: 9WEB

Fools mock at making atonement for sins,

WEB: 10WEB

The heart knows its own bitterness and joy;

The house of the wicked will be overthrown,

There is a way which seems right to a man,

Even in laughter the heart may be sorrowful,

The unfaithful will be repaid for his own ways;

A simple man believes everything,

A wise man fears and shuns evil,

He who is quick to become angry will commit folly,

The simple inherit folly,

The evil bow down before the good,

The poor person is shunned even by his own neighbor,

He who despises his neighbor sins,

WEB: 22WEB

Don’t they go astray who plot evil?

In all hard work there is profit,

The crown of the wise is their riches,

WEB: 25WEB

A truthful witness saves souls,

WEB: 26WEB

In the fear of Yahweh is a secure fortress,

WEB: 27WEB

The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life,

WEB: 28WEB

In the multitude of people is the king’s glory,

WEB: 29WEB

He who is slow to anger has great understanding,

WEB: 30WEB

The life of the body is a heart at peace,

WEB: 31WEB

He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker,

WEB: 32WEB

The wicked is brought down in his calamity,

WEB: 33WEB

Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding,

Righteousness exalts a nation,

The king’s favor is toward a servant who deals wisely,
