Then Job answered,

“Listen diligently to my speech.

WEB: 3WEB

Allow me, and I also will speak.

As for me, is my complaint to man?

WEB: 5WEB

Look at me, and be astonished.

WEB: 6WEB

When I remember, I am troubled.

“Why do the wicked live,

WEB: 8WEB

Their child is established with them in their sight,

WEB: 9WEB

Their houses are safe from fear,

WEB: 10WEB

Their bulls breed without fail.

WEB: 11WEB

They send out their little ones like a flock.

WEB: 12WEB

They sing to the tambourine and harp,

WEB: 13WEB

They spend their days in prosperity.

WEB: 14WEB

They tell God, ‘Depart from us,

WEB: 15WEB

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him?

WEB: 16WEB

Behold, their prosperity is not in their hand.

WEB: 17WEB

“How often is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out,

WEB: 18WEB

How often is it that they are as stubble before the wind,

WEB: 19WEB

You say, ‘God lays up his iniquity for his children.’

WEB: 20WEB

Let his own eyes see his destruction.

WEB: 21WEB

For what does he care for his house after him,

WEB: 22WEB

“Shall any teach God knowledge,

WEB: 23WEB

One dies in his full strength,

WEB: 24WEB

His pails are full of milk.

WEB: 25WEB

Another dies in bitterness of soul,

WEB: 26WEB

They lie down alike in the dust.

WEB: 27WEB

“Behold, I know your thoughts,

WEB: 28WEB

For you say, ‘Where is the house of the prince?

WEB: 29WEB

Haven’t you asked wayfaring men?

WEB: 30WEB

that the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity,

WEB: 31WEB

Who will declare his way to his face?

WEB: 32WEB

Yet he will be borne to the grave.

WEB: 33WEB

The clods of the valley will be sweet to him.

WEB: 34WEB

So how can you comfort me with nonsense,
